In my three cups drawing, I included one can, one bottle, and one large, reflective vase. I decided to use a horizontal orientation for my drawing because the cups adequately filled this space. I also used the height of the bases to display the smaller can in front of the other two cups, and I began to use value to shade in the objects to make them appear more realistic.  I did well on my proportions and formas all of the cups look accurate compared to their actual size. Another principle of design that I thought I showcased is emphasis. I displayed emphasis by using the cups to fill the space so the cups are the center of attention. Next time, I think I could improve the balance by making the spacing more symmetrical on either side of the cups. Another way I could improve my drawing next time is to make the line of the table more distinct so that it is clear that the cups are sitting on a table and not floating in space.
